When I first saw the caption to this cartoon in my email inbox, I thought it was going to be about Mr Obama bringing peace and love to Syria by means of cruise missiles (in addition to the armaments and information with which the US, the UK, and France has long been supplying the so-called «rebels» via Saudi Arabia (which seems to have squeezed out the Qataris, Turkey, Jordan, etc.) A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do when his proxy warriors – those same jihadists with which one claims to be engaged in a bitter war – are losing the fight against a secularist government which one doesn’t control….
