Here’s something that I wrote for Truthdig about the importance of public art. It was written in support of the campaign to prevent a Paul Conrad sculpture from being dismantled by the City of Santa Monica in California. I will be participating in an event on Monday night (Jan. 13th) in LA hoping to raise money and save the piece from demolition. Dig it.

A brilliant article, Mr. Fish.
“A garbage can is suddenly pressed into the confines of certain rules of order. It stands up beyond reason. It uprights itself. A fact full of shit.”
– Steven J. Bernstein
I am still 100% behind the American Holocaust Museum, even if it must exist in Santa Monica.
