Here’s something I did over the weekend in reaction to the ever-increasing cowardice of the U.S. press and its steady and growing disdain for what I and others like me do as cartoonists and freethinkers. Having grown tired of claims by publishers who are forever telling me that I only do work that is obscene for the sake of being obscene, I’ve decided to shift my reliance on stateside patronage and move this Fish into international waters where the food-for-thought supply might prove more plentiful. I’ve had enough of dimwitted and intellectually prudish editors who fail to recognize that by censoring work that reveals monsters in the act of FUCKING they are missing an opportunity to inform the public where doomsday babies come from. Watch this site for updates on Mr. Fish’s virtual journey abroad and feel free to offer names and suggestions as to where in the world he might like to go and with whom he might like to directly engage…

I think you should get some career advice from Chomsky. He might say “I really have no advice to give because …” and give you an excellent Chomsky answer, but I suspect you will Always Never go wrong with a few words from the logic master, and what you are emBark-ing on could you get you eaten alive.

You are correct Fish – the real obscenities occur on a daily basis, by courtiers of empire at the New York Times and Washington Post, along with highly-paid corporate flunky fake journalists like Anderson Cooper and Rachel Maddow, spewing endless CIA talking points at CNN and MSNBC. Meanwhile authentic truth tellers such as yourself, Aaron Mate, Chris Hedges, Caitlin Johnstone, Chris Hedges, John Pilger, etc – are exiled and banned from getting too close to the brainwashed masses.
