Interesting to note that protesters in Hong Kong against a proposed agreement under which persons accused of sufficiently serious crimes could be extradited from the HKSAR to, among other places, other regions of the PRC seem quite willing to ignore the fact that the HKSAR has an extradition treaty with the US (https://www.wipo.int/edocs/lexdocs/laws/en/hk/hk169en.pdf). Perhaps there are no Julian Paul Assanges in Hong Kong, i e, no persons who are willing to expose the crimes committed by the United States ?…
