“We need to close the southern border concentration camps in which people are held for months in conditions that are somewhat torturous.”
“We need to change the laws and public policy AND distribute downward the vast resources of wealthy corporations and board members and stockholders so that the majority of people can enjoy good health care at an affordable cost, good education from pre-school through college, and affordable affordable housing, rather than Rantier/Slave class housing”
“We need reorient the economy away from a wasteful one driven for short term profits. Our 200 year old industrial revolution production system was designed for a time of growth when it seemed that the planet’s resources were unlimited. We passed the limit at least 5 decades ago. Our system exploits our planets resources at a rate that destroys ecosystems and tempts the very fate of human life. With the interconnectedness of life, we can’t afford to run an experiment in which we allow 30% of species to perish in just a few decades. These complex biological systems support our existence.”
“We need to half our extreme investment of public dollars and productive capacities into the military machine and defense corporation monster, which profits off endless war and human misery.”
“We need public policy and laws and prosecutions which hold accountable pharmaceutical companies, like those profiting off opioid addiction, and food companies, profiting off high fructose corn syrup addiction. We need to reinvent our laws and incentives to incentivize activities that generate public health and disincentivize profit off obesity, poor personal health habits, and prey on human frailties”
To which another other US Citizens says, “If you are going to complain all day long, and you are anti-American, then LEAVE!”
To which I respond, “Sure. Can we Occupy one of the many Trump Towers in one of your other colonies?”

And you sir, WOW. I consider myself tuned in. My mother was a Holocaust Survivor, the rest of the family killed. That is what Trump wants. He needs it. He must be a dictator to make his idiotic followers feel he is so very smart. He is our American Hitler. End of sad story and not as brilliant as you, but to break it down, that is what he really truly wants. And not enough of us are doing a thing to stop the atrocities happening at the border. The blight on our country that is Trump will never disappear. Those kids, moms and dads will never recover. I have first hand experience with what this can do to a human and my mom, never, ever, recovered. Ever. So for a lack of a better word, SHAME, JUST SHAME ON HIM. But you cannot convince a malignant narcissistic personalty that he/she is not a gift to the world that we should all be grateful for. We can fight back with all of our might, the dems can give us lip service, but do nothing and that may go on for 6 more years. He will be re-elected. It’s a given. And it is the worst tragedy i have witnessed in the US. SAD!

We really do live in strange times. It’s so reminiscent of the rise of Nationalism prior to WWII. It’s not just Trump’s crazy statements.
