  1. Investigating war crimes in Gaza is an 80 min documentary by Al Jazeera.

It tells the truth, it shows footage and pictures and the words that constitute a truth that Netanyahu wants ‘we’ in the west to be ignorant of; the complicity of the MSM in this deceit is telling.

This doco is difficult to watch, it is horrifying, it made me angry and ashamed at the lack of humanity that resides in those who pertain to be ‘our’ leaders.

As always – thanks Dwayne for expressing so well what many of us think and feel – for feel we must.

  2. That’s art, but that’s truth: the Western world let these monsters massacre civilians in order to secure our own hegemony in the Middle East, but Netanyahu is leading us all towards the Nuclear Abyss…

  3. Well obviously this means that all conflicts are about antisemitism and there is only one tool to handle it.

  4. Two traveling monks reached a town where there was a young woman waiting to step out of her sedan chair. The rains had made deep puddles and she couldn’t step across without spoiling her silken robes. She stood there, looking very cross and impatient. She was scolding her attendants. They had nowhere to place the packages they held for her, so they couldn’t help her across the puddle.

The younger monk noticed the woman, said nothing, and walked by. The older monk quickly picked her up and put her on his back, transported her across the water, and put her down on the other side. She didn’t thank the older monk, she just shoved him out of the way and departed.

As they continued on their way, the young monk was brooding and preoccupied. After several hours, unable to hold his silence, he spoke out. “That woman back there was very selfish and rude, but you picked her up on your back and carried her! Then she didn’t even thank you!

“I set the woman down hours ago,” the older monk replied. “Why are you still carrying her?”

  5. Anyone can attempt the following. Let me try, without judgement. Interpretation:

The world is at the mercy of this man who leads Israel. He has more authority and power and responsibility than most of the people in any place, including his own country and the friendly nations of Israel. The citizens are “innocent” in that they sit and listen and do the only possible thing they can, as this leader, of a friendly nation, holds near unlimited power, and responsibility, for the end of humanity. And the end is not hyperbole, because talk of destroying nuclear weapons, and the threat of nuclear war, is possible, according to the artist. There he is. The villain on the boob-tube. Finally, the friendship awards privileges, and that is family as well, and comfort, with a dark ending… people get fucked scattering around trying to find shelter as bombs reign down on them, due to their friendship with tyrants like Bibi, and he is just an image on a boob-tube for most of the victims who look on with beloved devotion.

I can think of other interpretations. I mean, it’s art, so it’s not always easy to get it right. But that is what I see here, without judgement.
