  1. Politics in its present instantiation is no more than improvisational theater; war and peace are no more than stage props used to manipulate emotions and capture the public’s reasoning faculties.

War is quite something other to those unfortunates who find themselves cast as expendable nameless extras.

  2. “In every man is a wild beast; most of them don’t know how to hold it back, and the majority give it full rein when they are not restrained by terror of law.” Frederick the Great 1759

Obama not only has no sense of the ” terror of law” when directed at himself, but is happily, peace prize in hand, giving full rein to his wild beast. We should be better than this by now. But, Americans are very slow to evolve, holding the rest of the world back with us.

    1. And, oddly, I’ve been in theatre for over 30 years and to my recollection not one single war broke out. Quit calling it theatre. War is not a dress rehearsal anymore than life is.

  3. “The business of America is war… The forty-year War on Drugs; The ten-year War on Terror; the Afghan War (longest in American history); the eight-years-and-no-end-in-sight Iraq War; the covert wars in Pakistan and Yemen; and most recently, the ‘time-limited, scope-limited kinetic military action’ in Libya.” ─Gerald Celente, 2011

    1. And soon coming to a “theatre” near you…..Syria !!!!
