  1. I know how he feels. Amazing to me that the whole gender issue was kept so well hidden throughout the trial. He’d be a dead man/woman if that info was leaked. What an odd turn of events. I’ll get back to you when I’ve figured this out and can help “free Chelsea Manning.”

  2. Mindless patriotism and fear of straying from the flock promote these actions. Where is the outrage at what our government is doing instead of the effort to stifle those that would seek to reveal it? The military-industrial complex isn’t just hoping that the American people will sit inside a bubble and put up with the crap, they’re banking on it!

  3. Where the Law and Justice are in conflict, the side with the real guns and social permission to use them—AKA the Law—usually wins, while Justice is analyzed and found by the Law to be lacking in standing.

The problem is not that Chelsea Manning was broken, but that he was not broken until his desperation brought him to his inevitable confrontation with the Law. Most will imagine, rightly so, that the confrontation between Justice and Law will leave Justice bloodied, and so are broken by their own imagination before any real confrontation with Law breaks them.

Americans are losers who worship winners and thus remain losers; they know their place in the grace of law without justice. Only when America can support one of their own, a loser, will the losers have a chance to become winners and imagine that Justice can come to dominate Law.
