Thank you for pointing out (in such a creative way) this tiresome old bit of verbal propaganda. Sadly it’s still being used but like all old overly used detractors it’s effectiveness is waining. Much like the younger but just as flawed Reagan gem “welfare Queens” the mythical African American women picking up her monthly allotment of food stamps and driving away in her Cadillac. Hell I had a car when I was on food stamps, it wasn’t a Cadillac but even if this ever did happen I bet it wasn’t a new model, perhaps the comparison is a stretch but I just got up and haven’t finished my coffee yet

At first glance, US policy in Gaza reminds me of Aldous Leonard Huxley’s novel from 1936 – but of course, that’s far to kind an interpretation – they know exactly what they – and their favourtie proxy – are doing….
