There was no reference to faith or religion at all in this wonderful cartoon. You phychohistorian are the one with a fetish for using religion as a whipping boy. Religions teach us to take our values and our loyalties from the world and communities beyond us, while your phychobabble is all about me me me. The whole Enlightenment enterprise is about people new to education becoming so thrilled by their own brilliance that they think themselves the centre of the universe and the source of all values.
