  1. The upside of this is that the Nobel Committee will never again award the Nobel Peace Prize to someone solely because they believe he is morally superior to George W. Bush.

  2. Were you aware that Americans cannot be tried for war crimes in the Hague under US law?

    Stand proud.

  3. Perhaps Mr Obama could instead exchange that 53 cents on every US federal tax dollar extracted from those residents of that country insufficiently rich to be able to hide their stash in tax havens abroad and which goes to the military and (in)security apparatus for immunity from prosecution Den Haag ? But then again, isn’t that one of the things that misuse of funds is designed to do ; i e, guarantee impunity to the war criminals ?…

  4. Violence is Amereicha’s major export.

When asked by the Italian press when it was that he had been released from the mental hospital, Ezra Pound replied: “I never was. When I left the hospital I was still in America, and all America is an insane asylum.”

  5. I have to say I’m sorry for not writing “you’re”.

  6. Possessing the threat of overwhelming violence means never having to say your sorry.

That used to said, in the movies, about love.

  7. WOW, This one made me cry. You’re extremely talented at evoking strong emotions with your work, Fish. I wish I had your confidence that ANY of our Killers In Chief would ever be held liable for their crimes. Killing is our national pastime. And war is the only thing left we know how to manufacture.

What’s so fucking funny about fucking peace, fucking love and fucking understanding? (My take on Nick Lowe’s line)

  8. Whistling until the drones start coming the other way….
Turnaround is fair play after all.
