The Greatest Fear of America, and of Americans…. Is that of the basic goodness, integrity, and inherent perfection of the human body and human being “as is.” Looking for salvation outside oneself has led to blind faith in religious dogmas, political systems, nation states, and religious and political leaders selling nothing more than fear-based snake oil. Ned is an apt symbol for the disconnection from the our bodies and the larger body of the natural world that we currently face as a species. Mr. Fish’s political/social artistic commentaries have more wisdom than the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post combined.
